Rosendale Christian Church is excited to announce that Creation Truth Foundation will visiting our church for a full day of programming on April 7, 2019.  Creation Truth Foundation is on the front lines of biblical worldview teaching from the aspect of legitimately viewing the creation account found in Genesis and beyond as truth.  They believe that God has given us the blueprint in His Word for the foundation of the world we see.  With great confidence and conviction Creation Truth Foundation gives Christians clarity on how to live in a deceived world and trust a Holy God and His Word.  Matt Miles and Ryan Cox are engaging speakers for Christians of all ages.  They do a great job of taking sometimes complex subjects and breaking them down so scholars and lay people alike can comprehend.  From the 6 days of creation, to the truth about dinosars, and the impact of the flood recorded in Genesis – the Bible has the answers to these questions and CTF is well versed in teaching these and other biblical subjects.
At RCC, we believe strongly in the benefit of reading, studying, and meditating on the truth of God’s Word found in the pages of the Holy Bible.  There are several opportunities to meet and study together at RCC.  Sunday School is a great way to meet with your peers and hide the Word of God in your heart.  Our Sunday School hour is at 8:45-9:45 am, every Sunday.  From PreK to High School, we group kids together with other kids their own age and their teaching then study material suited to their learning ability.  We currently have 3 adult Sunday School classes that are meeting.  All classes and age-levels study the same passage of scripture so families can review and reinforce the main points of the study later. So, whether you’re new in your faith journey or you’ve been traveling the path for a long time, we think you will find a place to fit in and grow even more as we encounter God through the teaching of His Word.

Rosendale Christian Church travels to two of our local long-term care facilities monthly to hold a worship service with the residents in their care.  Singing praise, Biblical teaching, Holy Communion, and Prayer are all part of the services we hold.  Many times holding an aged hand or sharing a walk down memory lane is a ministry we provide also with the elderly residents.  RCC holds these services on the third Sunday of each month.  We begin at Laverna Village in Savannah, Mo at 2 pm.  Then  together we travel the few miles to Shady Lawn following the first service.  This is a vital ministry to those whom many don’t take the to consider needing the opportunity to worship with fellow believers.  Please join us in caring for these wonderful saints.

26 students and 5 adult leaders traveled to Minneapolis, MN for a Week of Hope community service mission trip.  It is SO refreshing to see the youth of today stepping up to serve, lead, and be encouraging.  From start to finish, our mission team stepped out of their comfort zones and into light of serving Jesus.    Our RCC crew was split into smaller work crews and merged with other participants from Texas, Indiana, Michigan, and Kansas City.  These work crews headed out daily to work at various service sites around the Minneapolis/St Paul area.  Cleaning crews, painting crews, food crews, youth crews and senior care crews were some of the many different projects on.  Most of all the mission team grew closer to Jesus and each other on The Road.
The Mission Team would like to thank all that so generously gave of their time and resources to make it possible for this trip to happen.  Lives have been changed!
